The Aviation Meteorology of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is operated under the auspices of the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). The office runs a 24 hour continual weather watch and is responsible for all aviation weather forecast & warnings of airports under its control. Some stations are also responsible in obtaining upper air sounding or radiosonde observation data. The following are the aviation forecast and observation offices:

The 24 Hour weather forecast & 5 Day Outlook are available for Abu dhabi and Dubai airports. These are non-ICAO defined products.
Airfield or Aerodrome warning, Wind Shear, and Temperature Inversion warnings for each airport. Rainfall advisory also available. SIGMET Warning is valid for UAE-FIR and issued by Abu Dhabi airport forecaster.
(OPMET) Operational Aeronautical Meteorological data request. Message includes TAF, METAR, SIGMET, VA/TC SIGMET reports and advisories.
Significant Weather, Upper Wind and Temperature, Turbulence Severity, Icing Severity and Cumulonimbus (CB) charts are available for daily flights. Satellite imagery and WRF model charts are also available.
Tropical Cyclone (TC) advisory center release warning concerning tropical cyclone locations, intensity and movement. Volcanic Ash (VA) advisory centers gather information about atmospheric volcanic ash clouds.

Avmet Weather Charts are made available by Abu Dhabi Met Office. Common charts are the Significant weather, Wind and Temperature, Icing Severity, Turbulence Severity, and Cumulonimbus charts. In house WRF model charts and UAE radar and satellite images are also available.
Aviation Met office supports operations for all UAE airport's meteorological department. Our office is responsible for issuing forecast and weather data for the movement and takeoffs and landings at airports. Weather warnings are also issued that may affect operation at the aerodrome.
